Does Your Dog Have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis?
Has you dog recently been diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis?
Dogs and People are both affected by Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). Although the disease is not identical between the two species, there are similar clinical signs and a shared poor prognosis for dogs and people affected by IPF.
In the vast majority of dogs, pulmonary fibrosis is diagnosed when it is too late. Not only are there currently very limited diagnostic options, but there are no treatments able to reverse IFP in dogs. Because of this, affected dogs will progress to death from respiratory failure in 12 – 18 months.
The One Health Company is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) created by animal lovers with the goal of helping your pet, while simultaneously improving the lives of other animals and people affected by pulmonary fibrosis.
